FAMILY TRADITION SINCE 1919
ZARDUS originates from a family tradition of shoemaking since 1919, now in its fourth generation. We maintain the manual componente in all manufacturing operations, making our shoes unique pieces. Our mission is to produce responsible shoes, both in manufacturing and in materials, and to offer our alternative vision of the industry combined with our heritage.
ALL MATERIALS ARE SELECTED FOR THEIR ORIGIN, COMPOSITION AND CHARACTERISTICS
- natural leathers with 2.5mm thickness, produced in
Portugal.
- insole made of vegetable-tanned leather (tanned with natural extracts).
- 12 mm natural crepe soles.
- recycled paper boxes.
THE MOST SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL: LEATHER
We use natural leathers from local suppliers in Alcanena / Portugal. The leathers we use are certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), ensuring responsible and eco-frienfly pratices from origin to final product Our insoles are made by vegetable leathers, chrome-free.
NATURAL CREPE SOLES
Natural product, ecological, recyclable, and renewable, obtained by extraction from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree. Crepe soles allow great flexibility with high durability and provide a completely different wearing experience.
MINIMALIST STYLE
We use fewer adhesives and other polluting materials found in conventional footwear. Only Essencial, without excess!
ASYMETRICAL LAST (HERITAGE LINE)
We use ergonomic lasts that respect the anatomy of the foot, providing greater confort and na unconventional style.
